My husband saw me lose it for the first time today. "I never saw you throw anything," he said.

I blame it on the hormones.

BUT despite juggling all there is to juggle as a mama, we made it out the door and on time to my first Open House since Zora was born.

I left @maryskang with a bottle, enough breastmilk and my baby daddy, while I took Maya to work with me. (I almost left her at home.)

With a little more training, I might just put her on payroll at 5 years old.

While work is work, it was nice to have a little break from nursing and bicycle legs.

Now, Zora just needs to start taking the bottle... 👨🏻‍🍼

Congratulations to my clients on the sale of their home of nearly 38 years! They raised four children, retired from Boeing, and built a solid church community in the PNW. Now, they’re beginning a new chapter as they journey back to their new home in Utah.

We met a little over a year ago after two of our past clients referred us. Even as I navigated pregnancy and gave birth, they trusted me to guide them through the sale of their home.

Instead of pricing low and hoping the market would bid it up—a strategy many agents recommend—we chose to do just enough work and price it on the higher end, knowing there was a good chance the market would respond well. If we hadn’t, we might have left money on the table. And for my clients, every dollar counts as they head into retirement.

Given everything happening politically and economically, we’re in a volatile yet surprisingly healthy market. Buyers no longer have to waive all contingencies just to get an overpriced home, while sellers still have access to serious buyers who are ready, willing, and able.

Unlike four or five years ago, we can’t just stick a “For Sale” sign in the yard and expect multiple offers with everything waived. Sellers now need to get their homes market ready with the right pricing strategy—and work with a savvy real estate agent who can negotiate and communicate effectively with everyone involved.

Selling (and buying) a home is stressful in more ways than one. My job is to make the process as smooth as possible—and sometimes that means answering questions late at night or helping you find the right people to get the job done.
